They don't look impressed

"You admit you know me? May I have your names?"

August may be asking for the benefit of the troll and satyr who, as yet, are unseen and behind the twosome.

"You don't remember? I'm hurt. I made a lot of money when Highlance gave you a thrashing. Not that anyone expected you to win, but i usually guessed right where you'd get injured the most. Mirwin ap Fion" One says "you don't remember Seneca ? He's the one fuddled your escape when you tried to evade the Liam dunking event"

The Dougal smirks

"And as you know, I'm Baron August Truthbranch of the bannerhouse Truthbranch and House Liam. My friends are Sir Bachdion ap Fiona, and Sir Earl DeBuke. I apprehend you in the name of Baroness Coradel ap Fiona, Lady of EarthRunes."

"The hell you..." And suddenly Earl looms

And Bachdion steps out "You heard the baron, boys." He looks at Mirwin, "A Fiona...messing with love. I almost hope you try to run for it."

Seneca says "On what charges?" He has reached into his pocket.. a bit of dross in his hands

Earl snorts

August puts a hand on his sword hilt. "You'll put that away, Seneca." he says "No use of magic. The Baroness will address the charges with you on our return to court."

"HOw about a duel instead, August" Mirwin says "You and I.. settle the matter. First blood?"

"I think not. Not yet, at any rate. The Baroness has command here and I will bring you to her. Will you come now, or shall we bring you?"

"Well, fiddle dee dee... the actor's life for... " And that's when Seneca, having backed up, gets hit by a car peeling through the parking area

Mirwin gasps "Seneca!"

"Take them."

"Carefully, in Seneca's case." August orders the others.

Mirwin finds his blade disarmed by a smooth move from Bachdion

"ALWAYS be aware of your surroundings, BOY" The goat's temper flashes and the blade is against the Fiona's throat "Tarnished lions get their manes trimmed. So try something, please."

Mirwin is fearless normally, but he's not stupid. And he does feel fear as his friend is hurt "Just help Seneca.. "

"Gently, Earl, please."

Seneca is.. banged up, Earl looks him over "I think I should flash him directly.. moving him might be a problem" He looks to make sure there's no cameras on this spot, then nods "WIth your permission, Baron?"

"Please."

"Ithink perhaps Emma's first."

"Sir Bachdion, can you take the rest of us back?"

Earll nods and chants "Your Karma ran over your Dogma, Dastardly Dougal"

And Seneca vanishes

to appear in Emma's hut

Bachdion says "yes, and I have the dross to do it with" he takes what was nocked out of the dougal's hand

August nods, prepared for the cantrip, and keeping a close eye/ready hand for Mirwin.

Bachdion says "Part of this bunk, Mirwin, is you Kneel"

"What?" He snorts "Look save my friend.. but I'm not kneeling to you"

"Not me, the BARON" Bachdion says his rapier on Mirwin

Earl agrees "Do it on your own, or do it because a troll pushes your face into the pavement...or do it because he can dictum you to do it"

Mirwin's eyes widen. It's as if the realization of what a BARONAL rank could do to him is catching on. "Fine." He kneels to August

August glances at Earl, his expression a smooth mask.

Bachdion says "Now that he kneels before his better, we vanish we go, space unfettered"

And they all vanish
