And there's Morthwyl "Come on, Felicty. You're the one who wanted to see that movie"

"Felicity, this is my mom!" Beaming with pride.

"Uncle morgan just... it's irene"

"And her mom"

"Hello, Felicity. My daughter's mentioned you I think" The woman smiles

"Right, Felicity goes to the art center, too."

"Oh lovely" she says

"And. .oh... hello, mister.."

"Please, Just Morgan. " He offers a hand, even a mask can't hide good looks, though fortunately she's not enchanted right now

"That's her Uncle Morgan." Helpful!

"Well, I'm Irene's mother ..." And she gives her first name. a rare honor reserved only for adults. "What movie are you going to watch?"

"Unicorn Riders 2: The Secret of Starhorn" He answers "Felicity really...."

"We're seeing unicorns, too!" Bounce.

Felicity turns horrorified. The movie is SO uncool... and if folks find out she loves Unicorn Rider movies.. oh.. too late

"Mostly I want popcorn" She lies

"Oh..."

"I... I could tell you about the first one, to catch up?"

Morgan says "Oh she's seen it like 25 times at least"

Felicty turns pink

"Princess Amira, she knows magic.... she's actually from our world, but traveled to the Unicorn world in a portal..."

At that, Felicty can't help it, "I know right? The leaves turning blue had to be her first clue right?"

"Right? But then she met Starhorn, and oh, who wouldn't want to meet a real unicorn?"

"I know, and now, in this movie, Starhorn needs her help!" Felicty has forgotten to be cool. She's just super excited

Irene's mom looks at 'Morgan' with amusement "Let me guess, your niece knows the name of every magical creature that appears in any scene too?"

"But don't you wonder what the secret is? In the trailer, it's like he was hiding something from her..."

"From Starhorn the Unicorn to Malytor the Manticore" He answers Irene's mom

"I've GOT to know" the young Eiluned admits. The trailers have been killing her, then she looks up as if pained "it's MaliKOR the Manticore" a bit of an eyeroll. How do adults MISS this stuff?

"Well, I think..." Irene spitballs theories with the young EIluned.

Felicty says "Oh that would so make sense, that would explain the shadow in the credits of the first movie? Remember.... that shifting of light in the shape of..."

and the two adults guide the girls along to the theatre. Clearly, this conversation is over their heads

But there is butter with popcorn, and cherry coke, and good-n-plenty.

Tthe two girls sit together, but Irene's mom is on her OTHER side so she's ggot a fellow fan AND her mom!

And the movie is actually just as good as the first one! And Irene was SO close to being right, but not so right that she doesn't get to enjoy a surprise! Which was.. it was just so amazing! We'd share it here but it would totally blow the brains out of those who were not braced for the awesomeness that is.. Unicorn Rider!

"We are.... UNICORN RIDERS! We ride... UNICORNS! If you wanna do evil, stopping your plans, we are sworn!" Singing along with the credits.

Well, that's never going to get over played at the house Irene's mother thinks but smiles

And Felicity sings along as well!

"Felicity, do you want to come over and play ponies sometime?"

"Uhm.. well" A blush then a look at Morgan "I should be polite and say yes, shouldnn't I?"

"You may go , if it's okay with Irene's mother" he says

Faltering. "Not if you don't want to..."

"No I LOVE the.. I mean.. may I please come over sometime?" She says to Irene's mom

"My schedule isn't always good, but if I'm there, sure. " Irene's mom says

"Ah, here, my number if you like" Morgannn says

Irene's mom gets a wistful look, chuckles at something, and gives hers in exchange. Wonder if he has an older brother?

"Grete doesn't get ponies... "

"She doesn't does she?" Felicity sighs then realization "I bet she'll like the Cave Dragon though"

"Oh, maybe!"

"Why don't you two play at the arcade for a few moments? " Morgan offers a five dollar bill to turn to tokens

Felicity grins behind her mask "Want to, Irene?"
