Adam is freezing his ass off...

Alanza shivers as she wraps a blanket around a little boggan childling and hands him over to Adam "Extra credit, they said"

Adam takes the childling and carries him.

The DeBuke in the RV takes the boy from Adam's hands and puts him with with the others , she nods to Adam "Good work. Keep it going but look out for more Winter nightmares"

"Yes, ma'am." and he returns to Alanza.

Speaking of nightmares... a snake made of white scales and odd fur patches with flickering red eyes is lunging for Alanza who rolls out of the way "Adam, little help welcome. I found this under a snow drift"

Adam draws and attacks.

Adam's strike is true and from the side, the snake didn't expect it, so it pierces deep

And that buys ALanza time to draw her own Scimiatar and slashes away. TThe snake breaks into parts

Adam nods as Alanza kills it.

It slithers and thwaps around then dies

"Shit. the DeBukes were right. this is stirring a lot of nightmare chimera of cold or ice, causing al ot to be"

"Keep kenning around, we might find monsters, we might find folks in need of help"

"Right." And he does, kenning..... one hand on his stomach.
