Eyes widening. "SIR Siv. Now that would be a treat. She's lucky her mum is a Baroness, else there'd be a whole THING." A small laugh. "It worried me about Adam. He's already so hard to understand some times. His drive to become a sidhe... now that's more than just gaining a house, that's gaining a KITH. And I just... it's confusing, and it's not even ME changing."

"That's... very odd, yes. I would worry about him losing himself."

"It's not like a changeling, where the soul has been sleeping... or an Arcadian, where the new soul replaces the old..."

"I thought... right after we broke up, that I made a mistake. That I should run after him... but then I got this... letter? And I just... don't know how to feel any more. I... I'm confused, and... I'm trying to not be upset - maybe a bit... ...disappointed? But maybe I just don't understand, and it's a Fiona thing. Do you think maybe it would help to talk to one?"

A small laugh. "Or maybe I'm reading too much into it, and I should just... brush up and move on. Satyr style, we're rubber, you know?"

"It might..." She frowns, thinking.

"No, you're a satyr. Which means you have great grand emotions - including hurt."

"Bachdion, unfortunately, is a bit too like to lecture..."

"Honestly, have you considered Kerri?"

Her smile falters, just a touch, at Sparrow's first remark, and she gives a small shrug. "Sylvi's mom is great... and Sylvi, too. But it's hard when we're all connected. I don't want to rag on my ex when he's a Crash of the storm. ...I'm sorry, how did I ever start venting on you? I'm sorry, Sparrow! I just really wanted to invite you to a party..."

"Because I'm an outsider, and I'm safe."

"A party?" Feather-fluff!

She takes a moment to exhale, and then is back to a smile. "Oh, yes. Originally it was just a girl's pool party, kinda celebratory for succeeding at the rescue - and it's grown into more of an all-hands femme-stravaganza. Oh, Siv will be there, and you've met Dagmar, and Sylvi... And Zane's throwing a rooftop bash for the guys too. We figured that way if anyone wanted to mingle after, they could, but for those who didn't really to, they could just hang out without any of the normal flirtation-expectations and pressure. And it's at the POOL, may I reiterate.

"I do like a good swim.... even if I look like a drowned chicken after."

"I bet you'd look like the hottest dang chicken if so." She says, honestly, and maybe a touch enviously. "Like, Colonel's extra spicy."

She laughs.

A small shake of her head, smiling. "Are you sure you're not a songbird pooka? You're... just really easy to talk to. Thanks, by the by."

"Hey, I'm happy to listen. I've been... well, alone and lonely too."

A smile. "Well, I'm here if you ever want to hear me. Or I can listen decent too. Or just play music that's good to cry along to - sometimes there's nothing like a good cry to clear your head."

And a thought, "Of course, if you'd said no, and you WERE a songbird pooka, that's just what you'd say." Tapping her chin and giving Sparrow a mock-appraising look.

She grins at that, feathers fluffed out again. "That's true..."

"The party is this weekend, and I'm sure you've seen the pool. Weather permitting, come ready to swim - and ever if not, come ready to party?"

"Well, I might just take you up on that."

"Some revelry CAN lighten melancholy."

"We can set up a face painting stand, and it really WILL reveal if you have a pooka nature. Because I can scarce imagine not taking advantage of THAT for jokes." A laugh.

"Ohhhh...."

"I need to get back to work... but hey, thanks for the invite. I'm looking forward to it."

"Sure thing! And if it gets hot, stop by, I have cold drinks. I'll just be noodling on the balcony, and if the music gets annoying, I can take it to the roof."

"Great! Seeya!"
