Another narrow eyes glare back at Stormwake. Apparently now this is his fault. She scrapes a hoof on the ground.

Stormwake doesn't look guilty at all

"I know it's his fault, but it's too late to change it."

Stormwake gives Dagmar a vagulely hurt look. Seriously, taking sides that completely huh?

She nuzzles towards the sandwiches. Treats?

"I don't want to over-feed you..." Worried frown.

"Horse Yoga might help" ANother voice, Thane Tiffany wags

"Is that like Goat Yoga?" Connor asks? Worried. "Star is BIGGER than a baby goat. I could get Jack to walk on your back, though?"

"Ooo too pointy" she says "How you doing, scamp?" She asks Connor "Heard you walked into a Squiring. Did it sting?"

"Hey Tiffany..."

"Hey, Bergen By Knight, how you doing?" Tiffany says

"It stung in my muscles, I've been doing so much work. Here, see?" He pulls up a sleeve and flexes an arm - just a noodle, especially compared to Dagmar.

"Mmph." ("worried.")

"YUP, you swelling like a felon all righty" Tiffany nods making a gesture with index and thumb as if measuring. Then she looks at Dagmar "Me too. I mean, sundress are in again again sure, but geez sometimes I just want to wear jeans and flops? Or is this about The Pony Pouch on the somewhat expanding Star?"

Furrow. Frown.

"This is why my Damsel does all the talking" A sigh from her "What I'm trying to say is that everything is going to be terrible because no one here has a clue and everyone really really hates horses" The Thane moves near the big troll (But we repeat ourselves)

Connor pats Dagmar on the arm.

"Soon she'll be up there flying again, but this time like a jet and not a blimp."

"I know, Clem and Chief and everyone..."

Star snorts at this, and steps away, her tail swishing. She will go taste the clover rather than be insulted.

"I just, I don't know. You know?"

"I didn't even use the Nag word!" Tiffany protests as Star gets huffy

Then she winces "Crap. I forgot, that's their word isn't it?"

"Star is a fine mare, and proud of it. Please be nice."

Tiffany points at Damgar "And there's the girl. The one that protects the horse the most so the supervillains will never get near the ranch of justice. Always trust your cape, blue knight. You've got the power, you've got the touch, and you will get the all spark where it needs to be going"

Eyebrow.

"I know, the Gwydion dar goes ping ping ping, ping ping ping ping, makes you want to take your axe and swing swing swing, all the life long day." Sympathy

"Yeah, can get headachey."

"Do you want me to bring my stick? If you're bored, you can show me how to swing it so I hit myself on the head only half the time."

"Oh, or I could show you a new knife. I'm not sure it's mine, though. Miss Kerri put it up in the Don't Touch."

"The gift?"

"Well... Kerri knows best."

"if Kerri said don't touch it's probably too hot to stick in your mouth" Tiff says to Connor in a fair warning tone

"Dame firebird brought a knife that's not mine. Or it is. It's got a dog on it." And he shakes his head with wide eyes at Tiffany. "I don't touch THAT." Aghast as the idea of so crossing the Hearth.

"Well, maybe we'll have a squiring party..."

"I might like a little knife. For cuttin' things that need cuttin'. Like string, or sandwiches. But this was a big one." Holding out his arms as wide as they go - maybe an exaggeration.

"Give gifts then."

"It was pretty big, yeah."

"Hearth Kerri Manilow's mother crossed her once..." Tiffany nods "ONCE. You ever met Kerri's mom?"

Blink. "No..."

He seems surprised to even consider the Hearth as HAVING a mom.

"And now you know WHY You've never seen her mom" Dramatic sting dun dun dun

"Yikes."

"I can't picture Kerri as, like, a kid..."

"Yeah, it's a shame we can't ask her about her past" Tiffany sighs

"She's told a few stories. She's happier here."

"Yeah?" Tiffany nods "I know she gave up her bull riding her dreams on the rodeo circuit to make this lodge happen"

Squint. Pooka. Sigh.
