"Cesar's mom? Hm. I wonder if I need to call him Mr. Carolos when I live in his building." Thoughtful, and imagining another older satyr, probably a nice old dame like Etsie.

"She fairly spry though? If you're dancing with her, take care, sometimes us goats don't know when our hips are goin', and you don't want to sprain something on the poor dear."

"Piper, let me know if I'm going in the wrong direction here? But Ms. Carollos knows -exactly- where her hips are going, and when. If anyone sprains anything, it might be -me.-"

She blinks, and rapidly reassesses. "I might need to meet this mama."

"Zane met her. -DAMN-, Piper. Whew." A deep breath. "Anyway!"

"Do you think Z would like to go? He's not as musical as some, but, he still can hold his own, or just to watch. Um... anyone else from the Lodge? Your new bestie, Dirk?"

"Hey, I gotta work with the guy but I don't have to party with him. He strike you as the musical type?"

"No... but you might be surprised. Hidden depths, maybe. I mean, like... he fights, and he's tough, I've heard that, right? But I've never met any sained changeling that managed to get through a year of fosterage without learning at least some BASIC cantrips. Maybe he knows something interesting, or useful."

"Maybe?"

A few steps to the car and he unlocks it; they're sitting inside when he says. "He did help me fight a few chimera off." a reluctant admission.

"Maybe he could teach you some moves. I mean, think of it this way. Get some energy out, you might even get to whack him one... and you'd learn how to fight an enemy like him. Right now, you've learned like, sword stuff, right? Which is great against a swordsman who follows the rules of battle... but if you're gonna fight a monster, you gotta know how a mon- how someone with monstrous tendencies may fight." She corrects herself there.

"Chief had me working staff and pole arms up til now."

"Well, now you gotta learn swords!" She grins.

"Oh, I can text Siv, by the way. If you want to check in with Chief and see what she plans for your quests. Planning is.... not really my forte, but you can maybe help us figure out what's coming up? Summer break is nigh..."

A groan. "I can't wait..... " he starts taking them ... well, away. "Where are we going?"

"I'm hungry." She admits. "I could go home and see if that salad is still good. Or we could see if there's anything at the lodge,maybe? I always feel a bit.. guilty about that, but Sallie May insists that they cook for a crowd because they want to feed everyone who wants it..."

"If we go to the Lodge, I could see if the Chief is there, talk to her."

"Do you want to? If you want a night to yourself, I get that too. Or, um. Spend some time with Nab." She offers.

"Aw, thanks. But she's with Zane, right? Could be a while. Let's go by the Lodge, yeah?"

"Oh, I noticed. Yea, let's roll!"
