"SUCH a good friend. I'd take a bullet for him" Zane nod nod nods

"Awww...." Adam approaches the Chimera and kisses her.

"Hey, you're not mine to share, Nab." He tells her. "We needed to drop by and get dross. You didn't have to clean up.... but I love the outfit." He grins.

She kisses him hotly, then giggles when they part "Bad timing to fluff your pillows?" Then she hears him "Oh, Dross."

"So he can magic my sword and learn more about it!" Excited.

"Yeah, part of whatever magic happened the other night made her full-sized." He tells Zane. "But she can shrink, too."

"Tadaa" She shrinks to show

Adam offers his hand and/or pats his shoulder for her. "If you want." He heads over to his stockpile of dross. "Zane, you want to come pick what you need?"

"Dude" He nods "You've got quite the load of goodies here... uhm.. any you don't want more than others? I mean, should I go for the gross dross or the pastel dross or?"

Adam laughs. "Nah, it's cool. I've been saving up to get that dagger made. Do you think I have enough yet?"

"You know, you might... sorry to slow it down a bit" He snatches some dross "Let's see that sword.. if you want it done here?"

"We can, if you want."

He shrugs "Might be as good as any"

"Cool." Adam drops himself on his bed, careful not to dislodge Nab (wherever she perched).

She perches on his lap

This is DEFINITELY fine with him.

and the Satyr lays the sword in his hands and beings to chant "The world is full of magic things, patiently waiting for our senses to grow sharper.”

He strokes Nab gently with one finger as he watches.

The sword glows with a light that gets brighter and brighter until it's painful to look

He watches as long as he can before he has to avert his eyes.

And Zane speaks "The impossible ascent has three Steps! Three Eyes Must open! Ere the Horns sound!"

When he hears that, he grins.

"Aphrodite's supple thighs, I'm blind!" Zane says seeming himself again

"You ok, Dude?" Adam looks worried.

"Depends on if my eyes clear or not" He says "Dude.. I don't know about YOU, but this sword it's... coated in destiny, it's DRIPPING with Da'an, it's Fate Covered Fate with Fate Filling"

Adam pulls Zane to sit next to him, and picks up the sword. "And it's mine?"

"It is meant to be with you, not always the same thing" Zane roams his hand before his eyes

"In fact, at this stage, might be better to say you're the swords"

"I'm ok with that."

"What do you think, Nab?"

"I think we may need to get Zane to the Hearth if his eyes dont' start working soon"

"Oh, jeeze.....shit, yeah. Zane?" He sets the sword down and takes a look at his friend.

Zane's eyes look a bit pale... but slowly, slow are returning as if they decided to go elsewhere for a time

"I can see light again, that's good right?"

Adam peers into his eyes. "Yeah, I think so. Do you want to go find the Hearth? Just to get checked out?"

"No no.. I'm.. okay. Or will be" Zane says "Wow, that wasn't even my best soothsay, the sword only told me a little"

"I heard some, but what else did it tell you?"

"I think you heard what it told me.. atl east, that I could make out.. there were sounds... like great rattling gates"

"Huh. Yeah?" He thinks. "Don't Fae histories talk about the Gates of Arcadia?" Adam grabs his bag and pulls his childling' history out. "It's in here....."

"Yeah, it's.. a big thing. Particularly for the sidhe. Dude... did you ever think maybe this wish wouldn't have worked at ALL except to give someone up there a chance to do something down here? "

"Yeah, here...." He points out the section but then frowns. "What do you mean?"

"Just that.. there's a lot of questions about Acardia's power to influence us.. is it closed? is it there at all? is it helpless? Can it spy on us? Do they have a clue?"

"Dude, how would I know? How're your eyes?"

"I..whew.. they're back." A rise "What I'm saying is, everything has a cost, and when you open a door to step out, someone else might step out with you.. or in past you... "

"So I just need to be careful, right?"

"We need to study more.. but yes." he rises

Adam stands as well, careful of Nab's perching. "So I'll be careful." he grins.

He picks up the sword with one hand, gripping it mid-sheath. "I've wanted one of these forever."
