Then suddenly the sword flares.. the sword Ellie left behind

It's here. It flares and burns as if to say 'Remember who you are!'

And jessica's maul glows and she sees Holger gasping for breath as a strange cloud surrounds him while an twisted Dark Kin with pustules and pox all over it's form heads towards the window past him

Oh, and there's a dead mortal woman and a Cat

the cat is alive

"La espada!" And she darts to grab the sword, if allowed, and hand it over to Ellie.

Ellie swallows and takes the sword. The flame glows purple.

She is distracted even from the monster, from the cat, and all else as she gazes at the sidhe in awe.

Jessica hands the sword over and (climbs through the window?) to join the childings.

OOC: Yup. There's a window. Troll on the inside of the room.

BIC: Ellie feels the sword's comforting grip. She can fight with this. They taught her.

A deep breath, and Eleanor of the Dark Star heads after Jessica, through the window.

The creature turns to see Jessica and gasps.. he motions ,and that pestulant cloud leaves the boy and heads towards her... but not quite as fast as the troll woman moves!

A fierce if high-pitched yell and she STABS at the monster!

"Ariel, la gata..." She points towards the poor cat in the midst of the fray.

Jessica, perhaps a bit cramped by the quarters, doesn't swing with the maul; she uses it head-on, like a battering ram, to violently shove the opponents back.

Ariel leaps to grab the cat "Got her" And seems to decide this act requires a battle cry "DeBuke! DeBuke! Freedom for all!"

Ellie can't hit that hard - but she is fast, and the word is both sharp and ON FIRE.

The two weapons both flame almost in sync...

Meanwhile, Salma ducks and covers, like a smart folk would, arms over her head and ears tucked in tight.

and Jessica's Maul knocks it back, it falls over the woman it killed trpping and he lands on his back

and the sidhe girl THRUSTS the blade into it's black heart

It screams, as a troll boy, free of plague again grabs it's legs so the ladies can finish it off while it's down

Wich they do!

Jessica simply drops the head of her maul onto it's head. Squish.

It dead.

The dead woman is dead. The Cat is out on the starway

And Holger is rattling something off in Spanish how he really meant to fight better and he's very sorry

Salma grabs up the cat and cradles it close - hopefully it is friendly!

"hey, I had the cat..." Ariel says

It's friendly.. and very very pregnant

"Oh, you are fat, Senora Gata."

Jessica glowers.

"Ariel, is our caballero okay? And..." She gulps, just now seeing the Lady of the Hold present.

"Querían un gato. Recordé que esta mujer tenía un gato. Iba a preguntarle al gato si conocía a otros gatos que necesitaran un buen hogar. Pero la anciana estaba muerta por el monstruo y supe que habría salvado ella pero no lo hice. Lo siento ". Holger explains

(Translation: "They wanted a cat. I remembered this lady had a cat. i was going to ask the cat if she knew other cats that needed a good home. But the old lady was dead because of the monster and I had known I would have saved her but I did not. I am sorry.")

"Los siento, Senorita Condesa, it is my fault, but la gata is filled up with gatitas and should not have so much excitement." Tugging at an ear dolefully. "Por favor, it was my idea."

Ariel says "it was ALL our ideas" She says "We didn't know there was going to be a monster, but.. but it was good there was so we could stop it before it killed again.. .and the cat needs a home And... oh, well, maybe YOU stopped it but Ellie helped so... uhm"

A deep breath. "Eleanor. I asked you to take an escort if you left the Freehold. Dame Ash."

"La cabracita and I were her escort, and our cabballero." She offers. "Dama Ash is so very busy."

Holger mutters something about how this is his fault really because he is the troll and is SUPPOSED to guard folks

"But I didn't go out alone..."

"She didn't" Ariel agrees

"You didn't take an -escort- to -protect- you."

Ariel ;points to Holger "he's a thane.. uhm.. trainee"

"She protected us, Condesa."

Jessica looks down at the deceased mortal, and the rest of the mess.

"Ok. Let's get out of here. Can any of you hide in plain sight from the eyes of mortals?"

"I... I am very sorry, Countess. I wanted to get the cat."
