"I hear you, " He says "And I'll help him."

"Maybe you could help me?" She smiles and takes the satyr's hands, "We can..discuss matters for an hour or so, if your friend doesn't mind waiting on this blanket and watching the ocean for a while?"

August clears his throat and looks away.

"You don't mind if she and I head off for a bit , do you August?" Dion says

"No." Mumbled.

"Enjoy the sea breeze" He says and takes the mage away

"Nice meeting you, August" She calls back and... they vanish into the sea

August remains. Awkwardly. Ignoring......

Well, they're out of sight. He's got an hour?

He.....glances around? A beach..... Fiefs......a smile?

And he looks, mostly it's mortals having fun, albeit in the off season. But it is beautiful

August can appreciate that.

He does spot one satyr! A biracial of mixed heritage , who is jamming to some tunes from an old style boom box

GOod looking guy, and he glances towards August and seems surprised to see another changeling. Thumbs up

The Sidhe offers a small acknowledgement and......finds a quiet spot to read.

He moves on, and , well, books being what they are, time passes. August has always had the gift of being absorbed into a book, to let the words absorb him.

A strength? A weakness? Both?

"Hey," Bachdion says smiling

It would appear he's got a lazy grin and seems quite pleased.

August stands and dusts himself off. "Ah."

"Did you enjoy the beach or.." A glance at the book, "Well, beach and book?"

"No, my book was....good."

"Excellent. We'll, we've learned what we need to know."

"You are satisfied, I hope?"

"Ah. Well. Yes?"

"Why are you asking me?" A pat on his shoulder "Speaking for myself, it seemed a relief."

"Good. Shall we return?"

"I think Chloe would be furious if she found out we spent a whole day here wihtout her along, so yes." He picks up some sand, prepares to throw it into the air but a voice says

"Hey, pardon me," It's that other satyr from earlier

Bachdion turns "Yhes, oh, hello."

"You heading to the mainland?" The islander satyr says

"We are," A nod

"Got room for another? I can pay dross." The other says

And Bachdion looks to August at the question

August looks shocked at the sound of Chloe's name.....and nods the the requests. "Sir, please do what you can for them. I can wait."

"August, he means you, me and him" Bachdion says

The Sidhe shakes his head. "Take care of the other satyr, Sir." A head up-tilt.

"Pardon me, for a moment mister..." Bachdion asks

"Lyron" the man says with a grin.

"Yes, pardon me, Lyron. Need to talk to my friend." And the knight pulls August to the side "August? He wants to go with us, is there a reason you're shunning his company? Something I should know about this guy?"

"I....no. But I don't know him, Sir."

"Right. so you think I should flicker flash him to Earth Runes without us, then the two of us go? I'm having trouble finding the logic here"

"I don't want to keep you.... So......Kansas City? Firnost?"

"Oh, you want him sent elsewhere? Why didn't you say so?" Bachdion says "Sorry ,August, but sometimes you're as hard to nail down for specifics as a Pooka"

"Sir, I'm not sure." TRYING "My head is full of will.....and then.. I don't know!"

"Perhaps I should be more....apt. I will work on it."

"Apologies, August ,I don't mean to add to your frustration. I'll go see where he wants to go and..well.." he heads off to talk to Lyron

And a moment later, the new satyr is gone, and the dross used.

Bachdion returns to August, "I sent him to Rivervale, which is where he wanted to go. Odd request, hope he doesn't freeze. " And he takes August's hand, and mime's a twirl.. and they vaNish, returning to Earth Runes
