August walks to class on the William Woods campus.

August is quite at home at places of education, temples of knowledge with many worshipers, some more enthustiastic than others. He finds himself missing his usual study group. Karen, for example, now a Selkie, sends emails, but has moved closer to the shore.

Understandably. Nothing to say it would have been the same group even I'd stayed at Metro. And of course.... Coradel is here too.

THAT is a great blessing, alas he doesn't see her about. Their schedules have clashed a lot for classes. But just knowing she is out there helps.

He makes his way to his next class.

The thing that catches him off guard is, there's no sign of his professor. Normally the woman is obsessive about being on time herself, and not too understanding of those walking in class too late.

A voice coughs , "Your pardon here," A figure steps up. The technical term is 'little person', approaching sixty, the bald headed graybearded man is not quite four feet tall. He's dressed in a suit, "I'm professor Nimitz. I'll be taking over the class while your regular tutor recovers from a medical situation. She's fine, or will be, but needs time to recuperate."

A faint frown, but understandable.

Some mutters and much confusion. Folks hadn't heard of this. But so be it.

August writes down the highlights.

As August works and takes down notes, he feels a strange prickling sensation in the back of hsi neck

Instinctively, he slaps at the spot with his hand.

Another two students also seem to be feeling the same. One raven haired girl scratches at the back of her neck, and another fellow, a beefy looking man, cranes his

August looks up from his notes and around the room, noting the reactions of others and looking for the source.

It appears to be just he and those two

August subtly looks around for the source....

Try as he might, he can't just lock it down. It's filtering around the room, touching every other student, but only he and those other two seem to feel it

He covertly examines the other two.

The raven haired girl might be part asian though it's hard to tell from this angle. The beefy looking student must work out as he almost trollish shoulders if not the height. That said, neither seems to be a changeling... certainly not active ones.

He looks around for the source again.

Is it still tickling?

The professor seems to be noticing the three. IT could be they swated, scratched and craned...

August returns his attention to the sub, but with new interest.

The man knows his material, that's for certain, explaining the nuances of various schools of psychology , and the importancts of not disregarding it as it often has ramifications in the law, not just in understanding the accused, but in the jury.

August takes careful notes, observing closely.

And he notices more...
