When he glances back over, the satyress is no longer to be seen where she was lightly bobbing just out of reach. But - a soft caress, and she comes up from underneath him, buoying him up into a more stable position, and she inhales, bringing him up out of the water with the somewhat forgotten, for the moment, magical properties of the spring. "Breathe, Adam." And she inhales again, keeping them up at the top of the water... as he may realizing that he has Piper now pressed lightly against his chest, and maneuvered into a more-or-less horizontal position.
Though with his weight on top of her, the magic buoyancy doesn't seem to be able to raise them both up out of the water, leaving them simmering on the surface.
