"Who wants to propose the oath?" Sylvi looks around the group of girls.

Gerd says "Repeat after me, those wronged."

Sylvi steps back, shooting a proud glance at Siv about Gerd.

"As the Mists enshroud mortal minds and Arcadia's gate stands unfound, so I shall keep close and secret the knowledge I gain in this time and place. It shall not pass my lips until the deed is done, and I shall betray not the trust of you, my sisters in pain, lest my shadow call me out as traitor to those women wronged by false hearts for seven years and a day"

A blink as Sylvi is reminded just how goth-y Gerd can really get.

And the others repeat, some stutering but they get it out....

"With liberty and justice for all" the pooka adds after but it sticks

"That begs another question..." Sylvi adds quietly. "Is shaming him and rejecting him enough...or do you want to curse him?"

She doesn't say it lightly.

The oath seems to have made them calmer, more in control.

Valerie says "If we cannot bust his teeth, let's not bust his karma...anymore than he did himself. But if he tries this again..."

"He won't," Luci says "Frances and I can spread word, there won't be a girl in the county that won't know about what a sleeze he is."

Sylvi nods. "Agreed."

"Then the circle folds, but it does not break" Gerd declares "It is time to cast the net..."

"And draw in this eel so we can fry him" Siv says

The girls all smile

As the meeting breaks up

But not without generous helpings of ice cream.

SO much ice cream.

And Dagmar and Valerie talk a bit "So...Gerd, has she always been good at oaths?"

"Gerd's got a flair for drama." Shrug.

"Yeah" A mutter "But despite what I said, I really want to knock Elegan's teeth out"

"Me too. But we can't."

"I know" A nod "Uhm... I don't think it breaks the rules...did you want me to see your cat? "

"OH! You want to meet Odin? Sure!"

"I like cats!" She says

Loud and proud in her feline fondness! None shall shame Valerie the petsnuggler

And so Dagmar leads her kithmate home - not just Odin, of course, but Raindrop and TwoBit and Snow (who is not a pet but a friend!)

Valerie is so jelly of Raindrop and so on and confesses it but in a nice way, and she thinks Odin is a very dignified fur friend, regal. Two bit thinks she's okay... in short, she's good with critters

and even stays for a meal, where she offers to help Tove and Dagmar set things up or cook!

Valerie is certainly welcome to help! Dagmar is good at measuring, chopping, stirring - it's Tove who has the flair for ingredients and perfectly timed sears.

Indeed, Valerie is in awe of the spice mixing and admires the sears.

Valerie would make a good hearth in training if only she knew what that was. Tove is happy to fill her in as they work, troll lore should be learned by all giants
