The colors are ripe and beautiful in Vermont... fire reds, golden yellows, and so many variations beyond and between...

Crisp air, the smell of cold on the wind, the crackle underfoot... at least proper fall exists somewhere!

"If we strike it rich do we need a house in castle rock?" Teasing her lightly as they spread the blanket for a tea among the Autumn Setting

"You have seen Stephen King's home, nu? WIth the spiderweb gates?"

"No, actually, I suppose i need to look it up"

"Later. But now, we are here." She nestles.

"Yes, lady..." He settles down on the blanket and with happy habit arranged himself to be something of a pillow for her as she likes. Be it a lean against his shoulder or setting in more firmly. Neither of them mind a slight brush of autumn cool, but it is nice to snuggle with tea.

Zara can feel the magic of the growing season the hair on her head whips back now and then with a sudden breeze.

"I feel as if this ought to be my true court. Not winter, not summer, but the perfect place between..."

"Ever on the cusp so you can peer down both sides, nothing hidden from you" He admires the way her hair moves and her eyes light

"Aye!"

"you are an autumn queen to me" he says "Beautiful in the way Autumn is beautiful, wise in the way the Fall is wise."

"My Hunter flatters."

"Easy to do when the truth is before me" A smile

A soft snerk, but then she kisses him.

He returns the kiss. He tastes a bit of tea right now. Hardly a determent....

then near them they ken glamour

She makes a catlike sound, perking. "Do you smell that?"

"For me it's more like warm and cool colors , love" He says now that he knows to 'look' "Glamour...that way I think?" he guesses to the north east. He's right, of course.

She rises to her feet, craning her neck.

There is rustling sound, something caught in tree limbs. This is intriguing, and that her lover troll probably does not hear.

Zara looks - sharper ears, yes, but especially sharper eyes...

Cursing... thrashing...a figure in a tree.. and is that an outline of a broom?

"Hm. Earl, may I have a lift?"

"Always..." He stands, smirks, and pats her butt lightly and discretely. He has grown cheeky!

ALso, it's a bunk.. .and the power of flight is hers.

A surprised not-laugh, and she floats her way to the tree. "Hello?"

The redcap wilder girl snaps and can't quite get her teeth on the limbs holding her "What? Just.. what... shit." Red and white striped stockings, a classic witch hat! The longish hag like nose? that's all her. "Well, at least you're not in a damn bubble"

"Not that kind of witch. Need a hand?"

"Even a redcap knows intimidating trees doesn't work well... so...yes. Wait, you're of the sisterhood? Wicked!"

"...Aye?"

"Wicked, most certainly..." She pokes at the limbs, working to help free the 'cap.

For a redcap, she's a bit on the scrawny side. She's almost too short to be 'average-ish' but her teeth are as nasty and yellow and sharp as one would need in a redcap. Once Zara helps free her arm, the witch can angle to snap off a bit of deadwood and free the rest. She grabs her broom and falls only to hover. "There we go... "

"I'm Stineag, of the Apples Kingdom Coven" she says

"I am Raven. I... I have no coven."

"Hey, most don't. " She says with a shrug

"That's fair. Does that coven cover the whole kingdom?"

"Yeah, we try to have a witch in every duchy or state... that's why it's the Apples Kingdom Coven. Sure, nobles have a purpose and every girl seems to want to be a princess? But where are those princesses without the witch to counterbalance? Where are the heroes without a witch to bedevil or advise them? We are the hexers that stir the stew before it dries away from lack of motion. We're the ones who delve into the dark and bring the darkness back out so they can see what they've been blind to. We show the foul so fairest means something.... without the witch, it's all just..." She spits on the ground "A rockwell painting, and not even a very convincing one. We are beyond villainess or fairy godmother, we are a catalyst for growth even as we remind of ancient past ... where it was not kings that the folks feared and sought guidance, but the old hag and the woods... and wisely so. "

"Oh, how delightful..."

"High Reeds High Reeds.. no. I don't think we do. Only Duchy of the Golden Sigil witch we got currently is somewhere between buffalo and Niagra falls on the west side of the state. We had a lady thinking of joining up in the big apple herself but she ...well, she didn't" A scowl

"Mmph. City folk."

"Bit big for her britches yeah" Stineag says "See, I like small town areas... hard to pull off Urban witch you know? You lose some of the ties to the old ways unless you're very lucky or very good at it. "

Stineag says "Look, if you're looking to meet the coven, maybe join I've got an email and we do have an online chat thing going"

"I think I might like that. I don't know that many witches..."

"Self-styled sorceresses, enchantresses, warlocks, a few bona-fide willworkers..."

"Well, that's all well and good, but witch is more than a mark of magical skill, it's a calling, a life style..." A grin wicked and sharp "Death style too for some of us. Good, Bad, North, South, East , or West... we're necessarily for the world to move on with its tales."

Earl approaches.

The redcap eyes him, "That one yours?"
