She thinks for a moment. "Sometimes I think he's pretty thoughtless. Maybe he misunderstood the apology? I mean...it's pretty easy to misunderstand you, Eden, sorry. Maybe....we could talk to him again, try and straighten things out?"

"Hyeah, we pooka aren atural straight shooters. I... you know it was just the camel that broke the straw... so many.. I guess.. with the thing? "

Sylvi watches her a moment. "Hey...can you come stay at the Lodge for a sleepover tonight? If my mom calls your mom?"

"i... well, you know I am far too proud for charity.... so instead I'll just appease your bordedom by sleeping over tonight?"

A grateful look

A smile. "Totally. Save me from my boredom. And maybe, if you want, we can do make up? I mean, I don't want to harrass all my friends, but if you're going to be over anyway...?"

A bite of her lip "I ...the camera would steal my soul, then show my soul to mhy parents and they'd know I'd fallen to El Diablo?"

"Well...I'd love to do a video of you...but we can do make up without putting it on video. Or...maybe we could do a video specifically about doing a really nice, demure make up? Nothing too dramatic?"

"I gotta go number two"

A blink. Then a grin. "Okay...demure it is. And I really hope I'm reading you right. Come on...." she retrieves her spear. "Let's head home."

"Ah.. okay" Yanked along and counting to herself "Snot. Oh well"

Then she smiles abit "Lead on, Uriel."

Sylvi smiles. "Well...we can sort it out later." And she brings a guest home for dinner and sleep over.

And the girl with the forked tongue doesn't feel like crying anymore
