Brekke sighs, then straightens her shoulders, and enters the Italian restaurant. It's not during school hours, so hopefully Lucia will be there.

Lucia's father certainly is there, and sees her, "Ah, Mrs, King. So rare to have you here, please, how many should I find a table for?"

"I cannot stay for a full meal, and it is only myself. I would enjoy a side of your ravioli," she allows, knowing that saying she'd like nothing would certainly be futile and possibly insulting to the man. "And if she is here, I would appreciate being able to speak with Lucia."

Mr. Romano smiles "Ravioli only? You're going starve yourself, but okay." At mention of his daughter, he's surprised, "Is everything okay?"

"I think she can help me figure out a bit of a mystery, but I can say no more about it than that at this time, Mr. Romano."

"Well, she's a good girl" He says as if ready to defend her even before she needs defending. Lucia often laments her parents just wanting her to follow in their expectations and that's all... but Brekke has seen the parents when their daughter was NOT about. They are proud, they support her more than she knows. "But I'll get her."

"Yes, Mr. Romano. And thank you."

It takes a moment, but Lucia comes out. With Brekke's meal. She sets it down, then says "you wanted to see me Mrs. King?"

Oh, Brekke knows nervousness when she hears it behind that attempted certainty.

An eyebrow. "Yes." She checks to see how close she is to the kitchen...close enough for eavesdropping?

OH yes. Trust boggans to be boggans

"Perhaps," she suggests, "you would be so kind as to allow me to move a bit further from the kitchen. Maybe by the front window there?"

"Ah.." She glances at the kitchen door "Oh. Yes. I can see why..better view " An apologetic whisper "I love my folks but you know..parents." She leads the chief there, and once resettled. "Did.. you need something Chieftain?"

"I do. Sit with me." She takes a bite of the food before it cools. "Mm. Tell your parents the food is as good as ever." Then she gives the girl a steady look. "I think you may know why I am here."

"I... err... are.. are you using the Falcon thing on me?" Low whisper.

"Yes." Honestly.

"Well... " A deep breath, "I don't have to speak right?" A slightly defiant lift of her chin, but it's steel girders on loose sand.

"No," Brekke agrees. "Do you think that would be a wise approach?" Not smiling.

Oh yeah... Lucia crumbles "Okay I'm sorry but Siv really needed help last year they were horrible girls and borderline Autumn, Symon was right in what he did to drive her to switch schools and I stand by him. Sylvi cut down the smuggling contraband into school and all of it was harmless. I was just the look out. I completely lied to Dirk about who hit him with that accent whammy and I'd do it again, he was pissed and I don't want Eden hurt. Ms. Grey was going to break up with Lut and they were so great together and you know, love conquers right? And Mrs. Kerri was so surly lately I kind of HAD to make sure her husband heard things were tense ..he would have noticed on his own even if I hadn't hinted."

It all comes out in a rush, this and more of boggan interference.

Brekke blinks and has to take a few moments to process that. Her brow furrows as she works her way through the thicket of information. Siv was struggling? Why did I not...no...not the point right now.... "Ms. Grey is the topic I wish to discuss. Tell me what you did."

"I enchanted her here..easy to do when you can arrange glamourous napkins with the words 'Talk to him, let him explain' " A blush

A deep inhale, and a slow exhale. "Very dangerous, Lucia. You know this."

"yes" She lowers her eyes "But I also saw... they were hurting... they needed... oh they needed help" She believes it true for sure

A sigh, and she takes another bite of the food, for certainly Lucia's father is watching.

"I understand," she says at length. "Was it only the one time?"

"Nooo..." Wince "It was going so well.. the more she got to see, the more she appreciated his hard work as a guardian..and it was so much stress off him to be able to talk about it. So I... might have ..okahy I DID arrange to enchant her more than once"

A barely-contained groan. "How many times, Lucia?"

Lucia's eyes look up as she does that mental head count "Four... no.. five."

And that's SIX if you count Lut's enchanting.

And a lot of glamour, it's amazing the girl hasn't been in the hold more.

Brekke blinks, stunned. "Lucia...that's...how are you managing that much glamour?" She barely remembers to keep her voice down.

"Actually" A blush "I didn't...I mean, at first, I called in a favor or two, or just for a bit of dross or glamour from others. Folks owe me. Or they worry i Know something about them... so that works nicely not that I would.. probably" She says "But I did ..nearly wink out once." the expression shows she was profoundly humilated by that one

"I am not surprised. But Lucia, that is far too many times, far too rapidly. This could not only drain you, but also harm her, and then Lut's pain would be immense."

"I got carried away. She..ah, some of the time I got a bit of glamour back from her... from the musing you know?"

Brekke's eyes go wide. "You...Lucia...do you mean rhapsody?" A look of potential anger.

"NO!" too loud in shock then "No, of dcourse not.. it's like fostering trust and... I was musing." Horrofied, even offended.

A quick glance to the kitchen door, and the takes another bite of food, making sure her appreciation shows on her features. "Mmmm."

"I am sorry," she says after the bite. "I misunderstood your words. It was not something I would have expected from you, no."

"Lucia...I must ask you to stop. She was enchanted at the school."

"Yes well, thats where I was... I... " realization "She saw EVERYONE Didn't she?"

Slow nod. "Yes...I believe so. She certainly saw Dagmar, from what I am told."

A wince "Am.. I exiled?"

Brekke regards her plate a moment. "Can you stop? Can you keep yourself from doing it again?"

"Yes. I think. I mean.. it's hard when you think folks are hurting and in need and you just.. it's there you know? When hyou're a boggan. But they're.. they're better now so it's not necessary. It might even be harmful for her so.. yes. I won't do it again." Pleading.

"Then...no...no exile. But what comes next might be more difficult. I must speak with your parents about this."

She places her head onto the table "I am SO grounded."

Brekke rests a large hand on her shoulder. "You are hardly the first wilder of this barony to have made a large mistake, nor to be grounded for it."

She takes a final bite of food to clear her plate. "Are you ready?"

"As I'll ever be" She sighs "Glad you liked the food"
