"August? what's going on?" Leonora says

"I'm... you tell me?"

"I mean with you and Zara"

"What about it?"

"August. I'm not the brightest girl but I am a Fiona and used to traveling social circles."

August sees Leonora to her rooms. "I'm not sure what you mean."

"August. do you have romantic feelings for Zara?"

After a few steps... ok, a lot...."It doesn't matter."

"That was neither a yes nor a no. And I think if the answer were no, you'd have said so. Where as yes? well..."

"I can see why you'd avoid answering that" Leonora says "And suddenly I feel like maybe you understand me better than I thought"

A soft kiss, on his lips at the door, "August. Do you need ...comfort?"

"No." Softly.

"A pity, I was..hoping for an excuse to comfort you" A smile "Mostly I'm glad you're alive and well"

An uneasy shift. "Me too."

"Would you like to.. come in for any reason?"

August kisses her cheek. "No. Thank you."

"Okay. I won't ask again tonight. My ego might get bruised." She strokes his face "Thanks for walking me here. I'm sorry if I was boorish in my inquiries"

"Not at all. Sleep well." He lets her go.

And she slips in...hips legs... oh yes.

August sighs but.... no.

And he takes himself to his bed.

At her stream, Zara sets up her bunk.

Marzanna spoke of a coma... scrying Siv is tricky, certainly, but not impossible...

Tattletale might be easier than an omen, since it concerns the here-and-now more than da'an or destiny...

It is hard, POWERFUL hard... anyone else, she would get a clear image... but it's like trying to look through moving water.

The image focuses...A good image But no sound, no color...

This is her stream, and she plunges her hands into the cold water to keep tied to it...

But who is she looking at ? This woman looks closer to 20 than 17... there is a brutish cast to her features, her brow slightly sloped. On one bare leg is a dark rose tattoo... the legs are bare, but she fights in leather skirt and jacket...like some biker bruiser. She whips a chain about as she fights against another troll... this is not Siv. Yet it must be.

Around them, there's a crowd... mixed kith..and thallian!

And many of them wear the symbol of the harp and rose.

She narrows her eyes, watching. Zara has been a nocker, a sidhe, and more... she trusts her magic more than appearances.

So. Siv the Spy.

It is logical... and yet there is a brutality not just to the ogress' looks, but her way of fighting, her mannerisms... as she nails her foe in the balls and then proceeds to choke him. Either Siv is a very good actress, or a part of her is enjoying this.

Zara is missing something. Perhaps the girl is gone unseelie? It would certainly help in this situation, a shift in honor... yes ,she might be doing that.

Alas, the position remains frozen and Zara cannot expand back, cannot see where it is...

The form can influence the soul... she's been there, too.

Then, a flash of luck, as whoever Siv has become snarls her victory and drops the barely living foe on the ground, she her approach a Leanhaun knight ... and behind the knight, a boggan she has seen before. One who is not her equal in soothsay, but wise enough to know it.
