the door to the house opens, and Tove comes out wearing a flattering skirt and blouse. Tove still has some 'old world' style in her clothing, which works well on her Youtube vids.

"Hey Tove!" A grin.

Dag still isn't much of a hugger, but she offers out a fist to bump.

Tove has learned how to fistbump and is much better than she used to be at it.

"Sha-la-la" A la Baymax.

"Boosh" she finishes

Jaymes shakes his head at the ladies, but still smiles.

"You all ready for Beltaine?"

"Oh yes" Tove beams "In fact, I wanted to talk to your father about that"

Jaymes inquires with a "mmm?"

"Oh? I figured I'd help Kerri again..."

"Well, actually, it was about your father... see, they need men to be strapped to a pole for the dance..." She eyes Jaymes "And there's a call for volunteers. It's all harmless and..."

"No." he says

"No?" She says "Just.. 'no'?"

"Just no" he says

"Ew."

"I'm with Dad. No pole dancing."

Both of them blink at that

"it's.. not that kind of pole exactly..." Tove blushes

Jaymes smiles more openly "I agree with her. No pole dancing"

"Ok, so we're good."

"Well darn it, Jaymes, we're trying to find a more mature man.. and you know Frank will turn it down even if the Chief dared to ask."

Tove ponders then nods "The mountain is wise"

"I bet Dirk or Zane would do it."

"Or, like, if you need someone old, Zane's dad."

"Or Vali."

"Valie's a wilder...but Mr wayburton? Mmm I think he had other plans but I can ask his wife" Tove says

"Vali's a grown up, though."

"Jury's still out" Jaymes mutters

Tove pokes him "be nice."

"Well, he's a teacher."

"Well, okay, we'll put him on the maybe list, but he might be going to New Agengard" Tove says "TIffany works there"

"Well, okay." A pause.

"Do I have to go to Bergen?"

A pause , Jaymes says "Well... I think most of the Beltaine stuff will be at Rivervale itself. So probably not. Or do you mean ever?"

"I mean, since I'm a knight?"

"Unless the Chief knows something I don't, guess not. THough as a Gwydion, you probably need to meet other Gwyds" Jaymes says "Ignorance of your own house would be bad"

"...I guess..."

"you okay, honey?" Tove asks "I know it's got to be weird for you"

"Could I, like, not be a knight?"

Jaymes says "Why do you ask?"

A shrug, sullen face.

Tove says "Oh something is going on"

"I mean, nobody expeced me to be one and I could still be a thane."

"Not sure you can't be a thane and a knight" Jaymes grunts "What happened at school?"

"What? Nothing." Twitch/frown.
