"We have Dr. pepper, you want some?" Towards the kitchen. Odin is sitting up on the mantle (where he is not supposed to be), surveying the newcomer.

"Sure sure..." she says "A few tamales... then she throws in Buritos, then tacos ...and refried rice, so much rice. I'm so sorry"

"Sorry? Nooooo..."

The smells are delicious

"This smells great!" She starts unloading the bag. "What you want? I'll nuke your plate first."

"I'm good with a tamale or two.. .take what you like"

Two tamales are tossed in the microwave to heat - meanwhile Sam loads up her plate with tamales, and a burrito, and a generous pile of rice.

"We could play video games, if you wanted! I think May is out with Jimmy."

"Sure... and yeah, she is. I told her I could call her if it went south or she was worried but she's good. "

"Well, good. I mean, I don't need no dating drama, but I think he makes her happy?"

"Oh yeah... he's cool if she's happy" She says "We hang him upside down if he makes her cry"

"Totally."

"So... food and games!"

"Yeah. Have you tried Sea of Thieves yet? You get to be a pirate!" She takes out Lupe's plate and passes it over.

"Heard of it, sounds good" She takes the plate nd since no adults are around is less shy about eating

"Well, you work together to be awesome in multi-player... it's a lot of fun. Siv gets salty because pirates are bad guys, but whatever."

'Ha. Oh just tell her she's a privateer"

"Sure!" She gets her own plate. "We can eat in the living room. Jaymes & Tov won't mind..."

"TwoBit HAS FOOD. Odin HAS FOOD. They are both liars."

She laughs "I noticed. " Both animals seem calmer aroud her now than beffore

And yes, begging

"You're just encoouraging them, you know that right?" Lupita says between bites as ship to ship combat ensues

"Well, I mean, they had hard lives before here..."

"Yeh, I guess that's tree. " She eyes Odin who is snifin at HER food "Don't even think bout it puss"

Odin acts like he didn't want it anyway

"Oh, all that attitude. Gordito."

'he's getting a bit thicc yeah" Amused look

"Because he's spoiled."

"...WHich is my fault, yeah."

"Well, yo're a soft touch... you big softy... but don't worry, I wont' tell"

"Better not! I'll get crap. I gotta be tough, you know?"

"I know.." She says "But you know, crap from your friend isn't like crap from anyone else...not quite"

"Well, yeah. It's different from friends."

A grin "As long as it's not short jokes. those are death"

"Sure thing, Scrappy."

"Oh if that becomes a thing I will SO bite you..ack! where'd they come from"

"What? I was distracted by burritos!"

Odin and TwoBit get snacks, Dagmar has seconds... and bad pirates are defeated by good ones!

"Okay, you were right.. .this is awesome" SHe lays down on the floor after they're done. "Sam?"

"Yeah, Lupe?"

"You ever get worried you're going to...hurt someone? "
