Yes, the boggan is white-knuckled for a bit, and perhaps his suggestion to start research is a way to distract the others? Perhaps. It's a good two hours to get out of the City and clear of most of the congestion and traffic.

A nocker cabbie yells when Billbill won't let him drive on the sidewalk on the other side of him "Go back to Bergen, you rube!" shaking his fist.

"HA!" He barks involuntarily.

The rest of the trip is less eventful.

They motor along the highway, BillBill more relaxed now that they are out of the City. He drives long distances easily, with skilled practice, and comments on the various farmer's markets and craft shows they pass signs for.

"ooo..." Bev looks up, "there are a lot of antique stores too"

"Perhaps on the way back?"

"One never knows" she smiles "but it can definitely wait regardless."

"Well, we will have earned a little holiday."

"Great, tahiti for the three of us?" Prince quips

"I've heard it's a magical place...." he murmurs.

"You didn't tell me your friend was such a good long distance swimmer, billbill" Bev says

"I was unaware of it myself." Mildly.

"I sense a dislike of threes in this group, very unmystical of you both. "

Bev laughs sweetly as they enter Caramel , New York

And approach the graveyard where the corpse of one awaits , and perhaps, secrets of those still alive
