Somewhere in St. Louis...

The Chase Park Plaza Royal Sonesta St. Louis. Four-stars, high-end, very posh. It's a simple room, though, in which the short, stout man paces, fidgeting.

A knock on the door

He turns to look, but does not approach. "Who is it?" He calls.

"FiFi, ze sexy maid. I have your watermelon, and ham"

His whole face lights up, and he hustles over to open the door, which he does.

A VERY attractive woman in a scanty maid outfit winks with green eyes.

"Do come in...." He murmurs, rapt.

She closes the door. He has not been waiting long, not since his arrival, she flips the do not disturb sign, and then pulls him in for a kiss, letting her disguise melt away.

Well, the costume stayed

A great deal of tension melts away at her kiss.

"Callidora...." he murmurs.

Then she notices....

A touch more grey at the temples, a bit more brittle in his posture, just a degree colder... not much. Not too much. But a bit.

Another kiss, and this time a bit of glamour infused in her lips

He sighs softly, although the changes remain. "No need, Dearest, but I thank you."

"You put a lot of yourself into this one," admiring accusation and worry

"Not entirely on purpose, but it was necessary." He seems to be feasting on her presence, her appearance.

She seems almost misty eyed to be with him again, but with happiness, "I wish I could take some of it for you, but then, men only look more distinguished. We ladies are treated a touch more cruelly by father time. Wait till I'm a hag and you tire of me"

"Never." He assures her. "If Father Time touches you cruelly, I shall thrash him."

"You would, wouldn't you?" yes, a bit of a preen, "So bad for my vanity. So..we meet here, does this mean you're not coming home?"

"Well, I didn't want to go home directly, and just in case you were very angry with me I thought I should find a place I wasn't attached to...."

"Furious...but not furious enough to send you away" CC runs fingers along his chest, his face, as if looking at him is just not going to be enough

Oh, he looks very very contrite.

"I have something I hope will help to make it right between us."

"Honey, if it's the pickled head of a sidhe I have to say while i know it means a lot from you, it's still not what I dream of"

He laughs, full and long.

"Well, you will have to tell me what it is you dream of, then.... and I will get that, too."

"Too? Oh lord, dare I ask? " A grin "What DID you get or have that you want to help make things right between us? you being with me IS enough, you know?"

"We can explore that idea of being with each other, if you like... but, to answer your question, it is a meeting."

"Oh?" Intrigued "Go on."

"Would you care to sit?" He gestures around the room. "I thought you might like to go with me to get the information for our Kitten."

"I would" she says "how much danger is the meeting putting you in? the serpents are nasty customers"

"None." He leads her further into the room. "We'll meet with the new ... mmm, say, center point of the network."

"Interesting.." A whisper "A balor network? or..>"

He shakes his head. "No. My own, or rather, my old, network. I've paid my debt, given over the leadership, and received a promise of further information for our Kitten."

"Then I'm definitely going with you" Protectiveness "I've seen how hard it can be for organizations to let someone go"

He tsks. "Now now... I hope the organization I was part of, indeed, led, differs slightly from the one you were part of....?"

"Well," Sheepish "Yes. I suppose there are nuances at play I should consider. I got sidelined so I'm feeling feisty"

"-Really-?" Pointed interest in that. "Feisty?" A grin.

She pinches his butt "In more ways than one"

He groans a little at that.

"I'm free of any obligation to my network now, as we wished. And, a little payoff of information. Once we're ready." He strokes her back, touching skin where the costume allows.

"How long can they wait?" She whets her lips a bit

"Oh... as long as we like." He whispers.

"Yay" And she kisses him this time letting her weight pull him to the bed.

"Oh yes, please." He mutters as he reclines with her, pulling at his clothes while trying simultaneously to free her from hers.

it would appear that CC has not been seeing to all her needs while they've been separated, certainly not to her usual amount. She latches onto him like a drowning woman finding air.....she is indeed fierce , and needful, and eager and hungry and adoring all in a mix of passions both carnal and intimate. Glamour may flow, tendons maybe stressed, and hearts will get a cardio work out like you wouldn't believe

William may have put a year or two on his appearance, but his vigor is that of a younger man. He can't match her, of course, each Kith having its own strengths and weaknesses... but being who he is and what he is, he gives it a good shot!
