She waits, confident the penny will drop.

"Will you live here? Take my thane from me? A long distance relationship, long-term?"

"Oh crud" He realizes

She tuts. "I don't mean to bring details into it. Enjoy your romance, Vali." She smiles.

"No no, you're right. I actually was thinking she might move in with me without realizing... she loves it here. I mean you might not know, when she was kicked out by the armed forces because a lying sexist jerk defamed her and her pooka ese kept her from defending herself? She was utterly lost. Tiffany is a doer, and good at what she does, but you got her off the sidelines. So she's grateful. But I can't come here, not yet."

"It was the least I could do; she saved your life."

A blush "Yes. And now her Damsel is getting grabby. Well, I still need to let her know how I feel and see where it goes. She deserves honesty even if she has a hard time giving it. She coaxed me through a fever, steals my shirts , and listens to me when I need someone to listen. She's playful and serious and loyal while still having her own ways. She kind of snuck up on me. I honestly used to think I'd end up with a sidhe girl."

Another long moment. "Yes."

Then, a break. "Still, I can see you doing well with a pooka. You always had a bit of an imp in you, delightfully un-troll-like."

Amused look at her wording "Thank you, that's two maybe three of us that like that about me" A grin. "We'll see if I get myself exiled after Pranksgiving at Rivervale. THough to be fair, I .. I've not been myself of late so I forgot to pre arrange pranks. Not like me."

The lady rises and pours tea, then seats herself. "Something other than Thane Tiffany?"

"Or your young charge and her fate?"

"Or the fate of the other girls?"

"Or the bridges between myself and Baroness Brekke?"

"Hm. Well, just my opinion but I would think that would be enough....."

"Your'e saying somewhere along the way I developed priorities? Gah. How'd that happen?"

She chuckles.

"-Is- there something else?"

"Besides all that? No. I suppose not. Some visions I can't do anything about, a lack of visions that help. Frustration and fear. Fun combo. " Vali stretches, it's easy to forget how big he is sometimes but he is tall blue and takes up space like any troll. "I thank you, for your time and advise and care. I should go talk to Thane Tiffany now, if you don't mind me stealing her away for an hour or two?"

"Take her, and all the time you need." She rises and offers her hands again. "Thank you for stopping by, Vali."

Vali takes her hands in his big blue ones, and kisses her cheek, then says "I should stop by more often. I'm a terrible god-nephew at times. But I have a very forgiving Fairy God Aunt" And he withdraws and braces himself for 'the talk' Damsel to Pooka
