"Sounds sad to have no tribe" One woman says, "Doesn't your family feel... alone against the world?"

Sylvi smiles, relaxed by the food and the company. "I don't think so, ma'am. You see, our Lodge is connected to other, um, freeholds. We know people in many places in Concordia. They help us, and we help them. And there always seem to be new people showing up. But...that's kind of why I'm here. So I can learn more about the way people live in other places, and you can learn about us."

She glances at the Baron, wondering if she's talking more than she ought to be. I mean, yes, she's an Emissary, but that doesn't mean it's impossible to piss off her host, and she'd rather not do that this soon.

"You want to learn about us?" The Chieftain looks surprised and glances to the Baron// "Not just your people, but your distant kin among the other Nunnehi as well. She's a polite girl, and will not demand her answers, but I do ask you to give her a time to learn them if you continue to find her worth" Snowmantle says//The Chief smiles, "To seek wisdom is the greatest quest of all, to seek understanding of a stranger shows a great heart. Why do you wish to learn about Nunnehi?"

She pauses a moment, thinking. "Well...my Chieftain has told stories of a Nunnehi she knew years ago. But more recently...the Chieftain's daughter lives in a place where there are many Nunnehi, and while I understand all groups of Nunnehi are different, I though that maybe I might be able to help her understand them better, too."

"Mmm" He seems intrigued, but cautious, "Of ourselves we might speak freely. But there is a greater trust at stake here. Pehaps, in time, you will sway us by further deeds. For now? Salmon is not a bad start. And we can tell you more of our ways" An offer

"I would appreciate that, Chief, thank you." A respectful nod.

"...but...I'm not sure what to ask about."

"Ah, then, let us tell you stories..." And they do.
