Jessica rises, and notices the hold of Fenix is quiet.

She frowns.... then it deepens and she reaches for her maul, the fit of it in her hand perfect. She makes sure she's dressed and armed and steps out, heading for the Balefire.

She dresses, and out of the corner of her eye, there's a flurry of white.

Jessica spins, maul ready, on guard.

And the dress whirls with her...

dress?

Trolls are, the second most alert kith. So it's not hard for her to notice that her voile has shifted to a grand wedding dress, most fetching and fitting on her tall blue athletic frame

"Oh you have got to be kidding me....." Muttered as she stares.

It is pristine, and perfect and when she moves, she hears... soft music?

"What the heck is -this-? What's going on?" She looks around for, you know, her -clothes- and starts dressing. Again.

Five minutes later, she's got her practical voile she so much more prefers

Satisfied, she keeps her maul and heads for the 'Fire.

As she enters into the main area, music thrums.. here comes the bride?

"Oh stop that." Matter of factly. "What's going on?"

Mithra explains, "First, nice dress, second? Aparently it's happening not just here..." A smirk, "Though you do look good in white. SHould I continue?"

The dress is back.

"What?" She looks down at herself.

"Oh Jeeze...." She sighs. "Yes, please continue. Apparently it doesn't want to come off."

Jessica looks at her blankly.

"Some of your subjects are wondering what it would be like if you got married, so...voila" SHe gestures

"If I... " She searches blankly. "Is everyone here insane?"

"Well, it seems there's a wedding mania if that's what you mean," Dame Mitra tries very hard NOT to smile as Jessica's train grows longer

"Good grief...." Muttered.

She sighs. "Ok. Fine. I'll wear it."

"AHem. I don't know if it will cheer you or appall you? but.. the Countess is also enduring same"

Diego walks in heading towards the study, stops, walks backwards, and looks over Jessica

"Oh jeeze... no, not really, but I feel for her. I should send a card...."

"What could it say? 'Sorry your subjects are tyrants when it comes to expectations'?"

"I've heard worse." Muttered.

"I get it, Mitra, I do. Sorry to confound everyone but.... well, never said I was going to do it their way; just my way."

"Of course, and again, it's not just you... there are Eiluned ladies of my own House who are irritated highly now all over Concordia as they walk their freeholds . I shant name names, they'd be furious even it's obvious." Mitra says

Diego snerks

"Diego, be nice," Mitra insists

"Oh come on, it's funny. See, this wouldn't happen in a democratic Concordia. " Diego says

Jessica rolls her eyes. "-Sure- it wouldn't."

"it's the idoltry of the nobility that fuels this fetishism" He tisks

"I'm sorry, did a satyr just gripe about Fetishism?"

"Ok, let me ask this. Dame. How many -men- are reporting unexpected tuxedos today?"

"I don't have an exact count, but apparently I know of at least a dozen reports of single male rulers now adorned," she says "I think the 'brides' out number the grooms, but again all reports aren't in."

Jessica nods. "Well." A bit grudgingly. "That's better than I thought it would be."

A voice speaks up, "That, my leader, is only the tip of the ice berg as they say." She turns to see tito Woden, her Seer, young for the job, and cocky, he does know a lot about glamour and is learning.

"Something to add, Tito Woden?" Politely.

"Merely, lady, that you have power today you do not every day" Tito Woden smiles,

Jessica does not. "I do?" A nervous glance to Mitra.

"Let a little glamour in the air and see" tito suggests

"Got a bad feeling about this...." But.... she does.
